top 10 beach cocktails

Ok, my blog readers this is one of those let’s get real moments there is no way I can have this blog going forward and not have the Top beach cocktails from around the world.  I will admit I have had a few of them.  The margarita is queen here in Texas.  It’s hard to go to any restaurant or bar and not find all sorts of them listed on the menu.  One of my favorites is a mango margarita.  Here is a link to a simple mango margarita recipe.   It’s cool, crisp, slightly sweet with a bit of a twist.  The drink I find more intriguing for me on the list the limoncello, southern Italy.  It’s a simple drink with a bit of sweet and tart combined with lemon as the main focus.  I can imagine a nice evening on the beach relaxing while sipping something cool and lemony.  I have included a link to Giada De Laurentiis receipe for making these lovely cocktails.  Giada is just a burst of Italy to me.  So, I figured she would have a simple and easy recipe for recreating this cool, lemony cocktail.  I have not had one but the description made me think summer, fun, beach and good times.   I got this list from National Geographic and I like the idea of the cocktails being from all over the world.  So please tell have you had a limoncello?  If so, what where your thoughts?

  1. Gin and Tonic, India

  2. Limoncello, Southern Italy

  3. Cape Codder, Massachusetts

  4. Margarita, Mexico

  5. Rosé, Côte d’Azur, France

  6. Daiquiri, Cuba

  7. Red Stripe Beer, Jamaica

  8. Mai-Tai, Polynesia

  9. Caipirinha, Brazil

  10. Piña Colada, Puerto Rico
