Alright, Alright I know the puppy doesn’t go in the picture but he is so cute and he matched the decor so I had to include him today. I found this cute little puppy photo on Pinterest today and if you have not signed up for this site you must. It’s a fun way to find and post images you love or want to come back to out in internet land and you don’t want to save them to your computer. Another neat concept is you can follow people so if you have a blogger you love to read and they are on Pinterest you can follow their finds. Please feel free to follow me if you would like. I would love to have you. I do believe you have to get in invite first so click on my link and I think it gives you the invite before you can follow me.
Onward to the design file. I have another love interest and it’s stools, floor cushions and side tables of which some you have seen before in my previous design file. I probably have way too many side tables and floor cushions right along with pillows in my home now. I really want some unique floor cushions and stools when I decorate my beach home. I want to be able to plop down anywhere and feel comfortable when I do. And when I have visitors over it helps with seating. The white furry bean bag caught my eye mainly because it gives a bit of texture to the design. Can you believe this is a bean bag and it’s from Pottery Barn Teen? I have never been known to keep things too simple.
I have one other little design tip I use dog cushions as floor cushions (not the ones the dog uses). I got this idea from TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. And I know you are thinking what does that have to do with it…well they had a bunch of really cute design friendly ones on clearance and I picked them up and starting using them to sit on the floor to play with my kids when they were little and I have been doing it since. My kids are older now so I use them to sit on the floor to watch TV or read. Ok that was a far out design tip for the day.
