I Heart This 1850’s Guest House

{Rugged Guest House To Beach Home}

If I could take this Texas guest house built in 1850’s and drop it on a nice cozy secluded beach property I would.  I heart this rugged cottage. It has all the elements I love in a home simple with a bit of fuss, vintage with a touch of new, clean and crisp with a sprinkle of worn.  I got the I heart idea for a blog post via Sarah over at Sadie Olive.  She has a feature on her blog called I heart it and I love going over there to take a peek into some of the items she loves.  She selects items that are vintage but also some with a new touch as well.  I have been a follower of her blog for years and have loved it.  She has beautiful pictures of her home and photos of items she has photographed.  Her photography is to die for.  It’s just awesome with a twist of vintage.

I can totally see this house plunked down on a beach somewhere. I love the porch and the wood planked walls — so charming!

I just love little beachy cottages/guest houses. They are my fave and I would live in one over any other kind of house/architecture. So pretty!

Hi Cynthia! Thanks for stopping by my place and leaving a comment so I could come over and find you too. What a lovely site you have and my goodness, it’s hard to believe that place is a guest house, I could definitely make it my home (in my dreams that is!). ~Lili
