So She Thinks About Chairs {Design File Thursday}

I think about chairs and Tracy Porter designs them.  If you have not visited her website and blog please do.  You are in for a treat.  She is a mom, entrepreneur and a lover of all things color and she has a Fascination with Inspiration.  Anyone reading my blog and know the term Inspiration Fascination know Tracy.  I first found out about Tracy years ago probably just after she first got her business started with her husband John.  I have been a follower forever.  I have many pieces of hers in my home and have bought several fashion items as well.  I scored a great pair of vintage looking cowboy boots a few months back.  One of the most comfortable pair of shoes I own beside my flip-flops you know.

Let’s talk chairs.  Tracy knows chairs and she has a great eye for design.  It’s about color, texture, design, and uniqueness.  I mean we’ve got leather, color red, vintage with a touch of modern, a little bit of asian and light and dark woods.  She has designed chairs that would look great at the kitchen table, as conversation chairs paired with a great couch or placed in a bedroom.  And the benches and ottomans are to die for.  I am probably drawn to them more because of my love for vintage and light-colored natural fabrics.  But, I think any of these would look great just about anywhere in your space.  I think a couple of them would look great in a master bath or a grooming closet.    The metal top coffee table I am trying to stop myself from buying this and it’s really hard.  I could see a various fresh flower designs paired in three’s on top.  It’s a for sure in my beach home I will have a pair of her chairs somewhere.

I know, I know the cookies don’t have anything to do with chairs but they have everything to do with design.  It’s shortbread, butter, chocolate with a cameo design what else can we ask for.  I think a cookie paired with a nice cup of tea or a warm cup of coffee just might be in order.  Tracy is having a give away on her blog for a box of these wonderful shortbread cameo cookies.  So go on over and find out how you might win.

I love both of the sites We heart it I am new to it but I just love all the pretty photos that are posted to it everyday. It’s more of a pop of color inspiration building site for me plus I find there are so many things that I just love in life and usually everyday I find photos that just touch me. I don’t spend but a few moments on it each day. I basically heart 6 items whoo over them and move on. Because if I don’t I will stay over there too long.

Pinterest is just a most for me it gives you the chance to use it for inspiration as well as a spring board for blog posts and it allows you to see what’s inspiring others by following them. The board is not private so if your are using for it for blog ideas you want to keep to yourself before you put them out in blogland then I would not pin them. I also use it for things I would like to have in my home, fashion, makeup and hair stuff. I think there are unlimited uses for Pinterest. I hope that helps.

Thanks for always visiting my blog.

Gorgeous chairs and cookies! What fun, I will have to hop over and take a look. These cookies (well, and the chairs too) are just pieces of art. Have you seen Restoration Hardware’s newest chairs, the huge Versailles chair that just cocoons you? I would love 2 of those in my office.
Have a great day!
