A Little O’Bit Of Orange

Oh I went and did it again a lovely and colorful beach home this time it’s a soft orange with a bit of  a vintage twist.  Again, this home reminds me of Miami and the colorful soul of South Beach.  I included a bit of the home and it’s inside design and I thought I would give you a peek into my design style if this was my home or if I was designing it for someone else.  I took a little visit over to the wonderful Pinterest to find inspiration and like a mad woman searched the internet for an orange beach home.  I might try to include one of these color inspiration homes each week if I can find them.

Moving along I would toss out all of the furniture pictured with this home and include something along the lines of the items pictured in (2) and (3).  The modern touch to the bedroom with the white side chest is so crisp with an Asian touch.  I also wanted to include a vintage couch and darker leather couch to show you can mix things up a bit and come out with somewhat of the same feel but maybe a warmer/cooler look.  The orange couch screams modern and for some it may be a bit much.  But, I always believe there is a way to incorporate different design styles you just have to be open to something new.

I blame everything on the shoes, yes it was the shoes that got my creative juices flowing.  I can just imagine wearing these in the home with a nice little cute dress swirling around the home.  So, that tells you something about what I do…try on stuff, pose around in it and look in a mirror.  Sometimes I wonder about myself.  Oh and the food every beach lover has to have a little frozen treat in the fridge don’t you think?
