We Go Down Under For A Little Get Away

My Australian friends, I am bringing it home for you. The fabulous Hayman, a resort located on a private island in the Great Barrier Reef. I think this is absolutely stunning. The resort gives you a choice, of penthouses, suites and standard rooms for your enjoyment and relaxation.  Ahh, just let me have the room with a private pool on one side, and the beautiful ocean on the other.  It will be difficult getting me to leave the room.

Let’s close our eyes and imagine walking across the wooden path across this great body of water over to our place of relaxation, which includes our choice of salt or fresh-water swimming.  Afterwards, a little nap time and lots of reading and conversation time.  The resort has many activities such as golfing, fishing, spa treatments and great dining.

The Hayman Resort has won numerous awards for travel as one of the best destinations available.  I think we all should gather here for a Coastal Blog Meet for about a week…any takers?

Wow – thanks for the memories. My husband and I went here for vacation about 5 or 6 years ago. It was a long way to get there from Miami Beach – I think it took us like two days…but it was worth it. We loved it. We went to Reef World and took a helicopter ride to look over the Great Barrier Reef. It was a wonderful experience.

Count me IN! Wow…. I want to be rich RIGHT NOW! I know who to ask for the best kind of vacations, too. YOU, Cynthia! I really want to go to anywhere that offers this kind of luxury. It doesn’t look like you’d have to dodge kids at the pool or worry about vendors stopping you on the beach at this resort. I’m so there!

Hi Cynthia

I am there with bells on!

it is exquisite and has so many awards – now up there in the price range though.
I had the best sea perch cooked there I have ever had in my life (many years ago now though).

The Barrier Reef is the most amazing blue water and just as amazing coral reefs

have a great day and thank you for showing this one on your beautiful blog
