A Beach House About Detail

Hello, it’s Monday after a holiday twirl of friends, family and tons of food.  I hope each of you enjoyed your time away or at home.  I sure did.  And what a better way to start Monday off is with a great beach home with fabulous attention to details.  It’s the bath, the wrap around porch and the wood details throughout the home.  This beach home is located in Galveston, Texas.  And the architectural firm is Micheal G. Imber of this wonderful design.  I am often asked by local friends why do you want to move to Galveston?  I just don’t think it’s all that nice…I say to them have you had a chance to visit lately?  Have you ever gotten a chance to read about all the rich history of this town?  And more often than not they will say “no.”   I quickly point to places such as the one above or some great historical places and homes that make you just swoon.  It often gets them to thinking twice about Galveston.  After looking at the property above and swooning over it for a bit.  I could live in this home and enjoy wonderful morning and evenings on the outside porch.  Oh, and I would surely add a porch swing.  Well, I think that sums up my beach home crush for the week.  I hope each of you have a great start to your week.

looks good to me! Anywhere by the beach is always good. Although my hub’s fam is from Texas, I haven’t visited the TX coast but I would love to, gorgeous images here.

Happy Monday, Cynthia. What a lovely home you’ve shared today… definitely swoon-worthy. Galveston sounds like a lovely place which I’d like to visit sometime.

Hope you have a wonderful week. {don’t forget our Coastal Christmas blog linky party on Dec. 1st!}
