A Little Christmas Fireplace Twinkle

Alrighty, here is a little touch of what my fireplace mantel in my dining room looks like all decked out for the holidays.  I did the fireplace first and snapped a couple of shots.  My home was built in the early 80’s and I have a beautiful fireplace in the formal dining area.  I have always thought it was a neat idea.  I can switch it from gas to real wood logs.  It makes for cozy dinners.  I should have snapped the table and a few other holiday decorations, but I did not.  The weather has been very cloudy and rainy here lately, so hopefully I can get a few more shots for you to see.

I have decided I must take a few photography lessons, so I can get better photos.  My home sits on a lot that has tons of trees and it’s very dark during the day inside my home.  I think I might need to get a couple oh photographers lights if I want to get better pictures.  I think I read that somewhere on the web.

Your photos are gorgeous …I don’t think you need lessons at one – you even matched to capture the sparkle!

You captured a great images of your Christmas decors. Having a fireplace is nice and a beautiful fireplace complements Christmas dinner too. Switching from gas to seems a cozy idea especially for winter occasions. Thanks for sharing your holiday decorations.

So pretty! I love the glittery reindeer. Our place in Muskoka was the same – surrounded by really tall trees so it was quite dark in there as well despite the wall of windows at the back. Your photos look great though 🙂
