Beach Fashion Friday ~ Old Faithfuls

Oh my favorites are a pair of skinny jeans I bought from Kohls by Lauren Conrad.  Yes, I have about three pair of them.  I love the comfort, the feel and the overall look.  I don’t like the low waist jeans.  It’s mid rise for this girl and the fit of these for the summer are my go to pair.  I probably have them on about 2 times per week.  I love a little white summer top made of cotton or linen for the hot times around Texas.  And a cute little flirty handbag completes the look.  I often change my bags several time throughout the summer depending on where I am going.  Maybe I will do post on that.

Take Two Tuesday ~ Beach Inspired Candles

I can be somewhat of a candle hoarder…yes it’s true.  I am always on the lookout for candles that inspire me to think of beach living.  It’s usually something with a crisp, cool, light smell with a small touch of floral.  I love Trapp Candles.  It’s probably my favorite candle line of all, and I have tried a few.  The one I burn most often is the fragrance Water.  It’s soft, subtle and has such a breezy smell about it.  It’s the perfect one for your bedroom or to burn in my beach with home with the patio door open and a soft breeze following in and out.

Pin It Monday ~ A Little Taste of Seafood

A happy Monday morning to you!  Food glorious food!  I was looking around for some easy and I mean really easy seafood recipes to cook this week and thought silly go to your Pinterest account.  So, I found these two which I thought were simple and easy to create for a busy week ahead.  I love fish, but I admit I don’t cook it as often as I would like.  My kids don’t really care a whole lot for it.  But, will indulge a bit with me on occasion.  I often make it for myself and try to find something else for them.  I think seafood is an acquired taste for most people.  It’s one of those love hate relationships with food.  But, when you are near the beach, there are just so many great seafood stands to select from and there is nothing like fresh fish from the ocean.  What about you?  Do you love or hate seafood?
