Pin It Monday! Stuff I like!

Good Morning beach lovers!  It’s Monday and getting out of bed was an awful turn of events for me.  In short, I didn’t want to climb out one little bit.  The weather is a bit gloomy and a hint of rain which gets me wanting to be completely lazy.  Yep, I can own that little bit of lazy nugget about me.  Oh well, I had to get up!

Pin It Monday is a little feature I thought I would start.  It’s the day, I use to somewhat get myself motivated for the week.  It’s stuff I find that gets me going.  And today we start off with a little chicness on the beach.  I remember first pinning these gorgeous items and thought WOW!  the Chanel painted surfboard how cool!  The shoes in the middle are new from TOMS! just had to have them.  So comfy!  The bracelet is by JazzyGems!  I found this on Pinterest as the owner of this lovely company posted this lovely picture and had to have that bracelet.  I do have an obsession with bracelets.  So, please check her out!  She has many lovely things to choose from.

Have a great week!

what a great idea to have a “pin-it” Monday. I wouldn’t even know where to start, as I am so pinterest addicted – lol! Hope all is less gloomy today.

Oh I love this post – it is so me, I am such a huge Chanel fan – I bought the quilted ballet flats for Christmas – they are biggest purchase ever & I love them to death. Next on the list is a handbag.
Thanks for the lovely morning inspiration!

We Stroll The Beach Wearing?

The weather is in between wanting to be warmer and cooler at the same time.  And living in Texas doing this time of year it’s hard to decide what to pull out of your closet for this transitional time.  I usually just suffer it out and continue to wear my sweaters, so I don’t have to pull out a jacket or lighter coat.  So, doing a little future thinking, I like this soft melon combination.

The weekend is here and I plan on doing a little pre-spring dusting about.  Hope all of you are have a great weekend to toss about!

You Gotta A Thing For Driftwood?

I’ve really got a thing for driftwood!  I found these images a few weeks back and so loved each one of them.  I thought the pile of crochet hooks were unique, I have not run across any before.  I crochet a bit and have searched the internet for them and could not come up with a source.  If so, it’s a buy.  I thought this would be neat to use as well as a decorative piece placed inside a nice milk glass cup.  So, if anyone out there knows a source leave a little note below.

Oh wow! yes, I would love to have a group of them. I thought they were so unique each one of them. I will send you an email.

You asked about the source of the crochet hooks: Its me! They are made from drift wood washed up on the shores of Pittwater, Palm Beach, NSW, Australia. Contact me if you are interested in having some. I am in the process of trying to set up a website with paypal.

I LOVE me some driftwood too! These are great and how cool would it be to have a counter made out of driftwood.

Unbelievably Beautiful

Pamukkale, Turkey and their strikingly beautiful hot mineral spas.  I love finding neat places where nature has been allowed to do what it wants and creates lovely places for us to explore.  Can you imagine taking a quick dip in this spa?  I almost bet there are medicinal effects within this water.  The white rock like substance is calcium buildup which helps create these wonderful pockets of mineral water.  It makes me think of cotton candy all sticky and gooey.  It goes on my list of wonderful places I’d like to explore.

I spent a few weeks in Turkey & was planning to get to Pamukkale but had my money stolen so had to cut my trip short – such a shame to miss out on such a beautiful place…now I’ll have to go back again!
